Open discussion

This is a stable page that allows comments. The intent is to allow for any and all discussion reasonably appropriate to the spirit of the site. If you want to talk about something and there isn’t an appropriate current thread/entry on the topic, this is the place. Blatant advertising or spam will of course be deleted for the convenience of everybody, but pretty much anything else is fair game (see the Guidelines page for more information on what is acceptable/unacceptable). Think of this as a cross between an open thread and a tagboard (those little comment boxes on the sidebars of some sites). So go ahead, join in, say whatever is on your mind.

I would like to start a discussion on the application of mathematical concepts to Political Science, such that one would not usually expect to use these mathematical concepts as a tool for analysis in the social sciences (i.e. Fractal Geometry, Group Theory, Graph Theory, etc.)

Hey, Aaron, want to help out with a poli-sci related project?

Take a look at this: http://www.tacitus.org/story/2006/8/9/9153/26182

Any help you can offer as far as a front-pager or passing it along to interested parties would be greatly appreciated.
